ED Committees - Watauga EDC - Chamber Business Development - Committee of 100 News and Press	What is the EDC? > ED Committees > Committee of 100   The Committee of 100 is a not-for-profit corporation formed by a group of private business people to further the cause of economic development in Watauga County. Since its inception in 1984, the Committee of 100 has had a close working relationship with both public and private groups interested in the economic well-being and growth of Watauga County. Membership is offered to those individuals who wish to help guide economic development efforts in Watauga County, and therefore wish to make a monetary commitment by means of a set initial contribution, and annual dues to be set at the beginning of each fiscal year.
